I don’t get it

It’s forty degrees and raining. And not only is it raining now, but it will be for the next ten days. There are thirteen days until christmas, so the weather man better be wrong, or it needs to snow two feet in three days. What ever happened to the fanous Michigan winters? I should already have been skiing and sledding by now. At least a couple times. It hasn’t been looking very Christmassy, and my mood has been less and less Christmassy too.

MEAPS are done!!! YAY!!!!!

I didn’t feels so good today. I was really hot, and I had a migrane. Yuck. It started during bad when I realized the music was shimmering. So when I started playing it I messed up. A LOT. And to make it worse there were only three trumpets playing, and it was our first time playing it, and I was the only one on my part. Then I just felt sick all day.

MEA testing started today, and I’m already sick of the stupid bubbles you have to fill in. We had english language arts (first it’s english, then it’s language arts, now it’s english language arts? what’s up with that?) today and it was really easy. Ater I was done I counted the number of tiles on the celiene, there were 712, Paige I guess had the same idea I had, because she was counting the number dots on each tile, there are 484 on each, so we figured out that there are 342,608 dots on the celiene. That’s a lot.

Injured Foot and Bad Doctor

Filed under: running, complaining — sillymadelmoose at 5:34 pm on Friday, October 6, 2006

I was running on the cross country team, but I seem to have injured my foot. Last Wenesday it started hurting as soon as we started our warmup laps. It’s sort of a sore kind of pain, but evey time I step there’s a sharp pain in my ankle. I asked Dad, and he said from hearing other people talk it could be a stress fracture, but he’s never had one so he wasn’t sure. I went online to look at symptoms, and yes, it did seem like a stress fracture. Now, I’m almost positive I have one. So on Tuesday I went to the doctor to have it x-rayed, and it started out bad. Mom made the apointment the day before and when we got there no one had recorded the time we were coming, so we had to wait until a doctor could fit us in. The doctor I did have wasn’t very good. He didn’t really listen to me and then diagnosed it as a sprain, and, I’m no doctor, but I’ve sprained my ankle enough times to be able to diagnose them myself. So he wrote a note that said I couln’t run for ten days and then we left. I’ve missed the rest of cross country season.
