Fetch, Fin!

Before I get to point of my story, I think you need a little background information.

I clicker trained our cat George, I taught him how to sit, and to stand up, but now he ust runs to me whenever he sees that I have food, but overall it worked.

Now I have a story before my main point, I rescued a feeder fish that my cross country captains got us a presents, they were all dying, and I felt like I needed to try to get one through the night, he’s still alive. Later, we got three more.

I want to train them.

Scott suggested that instead of riding horses, I just get a couple gerbils. Hmm, no. Gerbils are smelly and small and a tasty snack for kitties. They do cost a lot less money, but I’ll stick with horses.

I was.

Track has been hard. Run a lot, no time to stretch, sore next day, walk like old person, can’t run. It’s fun though. I like running, I like being around my friends.

Eight chickens have died this week, Pollock got out and got them. Trick Chicken and Doris died. My chicken and my other favorite. Very sad, I cried. I don’t know who the other six are. I don’t want to go into the chicken coop to find out.

Sprig break started today. I don’t want it to. All but one of my friends are leaving, or have already left. I want to be at school where I can see everyone. Six hours into spring break and I’m already lonely. I need my friends.

New Modest Mouse cd, it’s a good one. We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank. I would recommend it, but not for people who don’t want their kids listening to songs with swear words or don’t like or are offended by profanity.

I’ve been riding Alaska more. I still like her, but turns are very hard. I can fully understand what Trevor (owner) meant when he said that Alaska is so big it’s hard to turn. Makes me sad that Guy won’t be at the barn anymore. I’m pretty sure he’s moving to a western barn. I think he has too much potential as a hunter/jumper for him to become a barrel racer. *sigh* I’ll miss him a lot. I don’t even know when he’s leaving.

Thus endeth my short post.

What happens when you stay home.

Both Mom and I were sick today, so this morning she was sleeping on the couch and I was hovering between awake and asleep. I opened up my eyes and looked at the curtain that covers our whole wall, because there wasn’t much else I could see.

As I woke up I realized that there was something on the curtain, then I began to realize what it was.

We have four cats and we still have a mouse in our house….. it even took me showing it to them to notice it, but they obviously wanted to catch it.

Doesn’t it look like someones hamster got out and bred with a mouse? It doesn’t look normal..

Pollock!

We just got another dog on Saturday. Her name is Pollock, we named her that because it looks like Jackson Pollock painted her. At first Mom didn’t want to name her that, but she likes it now. Pollock is really sweet and pretty and cool.
