Here is my latest creative endeavor (and our cat, Falco)…

It is a “Fabulous Felt Tote” from Fiber Trends using Lion Wool in “Lemon Grass” with Lion Fun Fur in “Chocolate” as the embellishment. I’m working on fabulous felt tote #2 with a few modifications which I will post when it’s completed.

That is a beauty! Aren’t they fun to make? I have a purple one that’s like carrying around a big fuzzy sweater.
Also like your new site look. That green color is one of my favorites and the eggs are a nice touch!

Thanks guys! Kristen, I’d be happy to make you a bag. Maybe you could buy the yarn and I can supply the labor. But, maybe I should try posting something on etsy.com and see what happens?
I found a website that has really good prices on yarn. So good that I wonder if they are using little children for labor to spin the yarn. Here is a link to a “feltable” yarn. Merino wool is really nice.

Do you want a big bag like the one in the picture? I did that bag with two strands of wool but the one I’m working on now I’m only using one strand. I want to see how it compares in terms of sturdiness. The green bag is a serious battle bag - I could carry cinder blocks in it if I wanted to!
Susan, I might have to make myself a purple one! Purple hadn’t occurred to me, but I like the idea of a big grapey bag. It could be like having Grimace carry my stuff for me. I’ve also decided that I need to figure out how to do a nice, roomy back pack for Madeleine. I’m thinking along these lines, but in really girly colors for a little irony…

This Fair Isle number is also nice…

Susan, perhaps this is an added justification for meeting Meg’s demands for sheep?

According to Meg, she needs no further justification!

Wouldn’t Madeleine’s teachers love that skull bag!

I have wondered if the school will frown on the bag, but considering the t-shirts I see coming in and out of the school I can’t see how they could say anything about it. It’s almost done and is quite fun!
